Ollevi is designed to help users organise highly personal information with care and appropriate safeguards.

Our approach
MJO Group of Companies processes personal information in accordance with applicable South African data-protection law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, commonly known as POPIA. Our approach is based on accountability, limited and lawful processing, purpose specification, information quality, openness, security safeguards and participation by data subjects.
Account separation
Life File answers, uploaded documents and trusted-person records are associated with the signed-in account. Requests for stored records are checked against the account owner before access is provided.
Minimising sensitive information
Ollevi asks users to record where highly sensitive access instructions are kept rather than entering the secrets themselves. Users should never store PINs, passwords, one-time passwords, full card details, private keys or cryptocurrency recovery phrases in Ollevi.
Providers and safeguards
Ollevi relies on specialist providers for functions such as hosting, authentication, storage and payment processing. Access is limited according to operational need, and reasonable measures are used to protect confidentiality, integrity and availability. Security practices are reviewed as the service develops.
Security incidents
If we become aware of a personal-information compromise, we will investigate, take reasonable containment steps and notify affected persons and the relevant authority where required by law.
Your participation
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, ask questions about its use, object where applicable, or request deletion subject to lawful retention requirements. Send requests to mjogroup55@gmail.com. We may verify identity before disclosing or changing information.
Important limitation
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Users also protect their information by using a unique password, securing their devices, signing out on shared devices and keeping their account email current.
